Brad was hooked playing music to people from aged 7. He used to record the Chart Show from the radio; worked out the timings for the songs and made notes.
He started an online radio station with some friends in 2009 but, as with any new ventures when a youngster, other things took priority in his life (girls) and it soon fizzled out.
That was until he was hosting a quiz in Dorset where a prize in a half time raffle got his immediate attention – a 2-hour radio show on a local station. He knew he needed to win THAT prize so bought several tickets with a friend…and won it!
A successful, one-off show in July 2013 got him asked back to the station – and broadcasting his first ever professional show, High Noon. Eight weeks later he took over a Saturday Sports Show and, as they say, the rest is history.
Brad still presents the Saturday Sports Show, has a wealth of radio experience under his belt and, still passionate about The Chart Show, in 2016 he created and presented a syndicated version: The Great Big Chart. The take-up was overwhelming … and you can hear Brad counting down the Top 30 right here on Canalside Radio 102.8fm, UK and abroad.
