‘Not one of us must breathe a word of what we’ve found…’

CYGNETS Senior Acting Performance group would like to give advance notice of their production of Bryony Lavery’s adaptation of ‘Treasure Island’, on Saturday 14th December @ 7pm and Sunday 15th December @ 2pm at The King’s School, Fence Avenue, Macclesfield.

Treasure Island, Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic story of murder, money and mutiny, was premiered at the National Theatre, London, in December 2014, in a thrilling adaptation by Bryony Lavery. After the success of ‘The Ash Girl’, CYGNETS take on the challenging production with a twist.

It’s a dark and stormy night. Jim, the inn-keeper’s granddaughter, opens the door to a terrifying stranger. At the old sailor’s feet sits a huge sea-chest, full of secrets. Jim invites him in – and her dangerous voyage begins.

We wish them “Fair winds and a following sea”
