From Guyana (via London)…Fay’s love of radio started in 1974, opening Tony Blackburn’s post! She worked at the London Palladium, Anglia TV and the fashion house Windsmoor before moving to Cheshire in 1984 where she developed her career as an award-winning PR professional.

Fay is, affectionately, now part of the “Canalside furniture”; on air at least twice a week, usually pre-recorded as she’s always travelling. ‘Sonic Stirfry’ is a musical melting pot and the ‘Fabuluss Fifties’ series is a must on Sunday afternoon if you enjoy the many musical styles that flourished in that decade; Fay’s clear, relaxed style complements the sounds, as she gives an insight into the music, songwriters and composers featured; all selected from the hundreds of albums, singles, CD’s and tapes, that she owns.
